I wasn’t far from the dock when I saw another small shark.  Unfortunately he didn’t hang out long enough for me to get the camera ready.  However, I did have severeal dolphin sitings.  Not to mention several folks fishing for reds.

This particular dolphin was swimming in very low water at low tide.  Not sure if he was watching me or what, but he slow swam with his head just out of the water before deciding I was just too annoying.

They’ve got it easy.  But I don’t envy the dock owner when he finds out how much poop these little guys left.

I was able to find several dolphins feeding in the intercoastal today.  It was interesting because I had never witnessed dolphins eating and hunting in such shallow water, right near the reeds.  They were scaring fish out of the reeds and oysters while slowly following the shoreline.  There were two seperate dolphins but they eventually came together on my paddle back to the house.  I taped several videos on my Coolpix camera, but lets be honest….this video quality sucks!

I’ve upped the settings so we’ll see how much better the resolution is next time.  For now, here’s the video.

I was out kayaking in the slews of the Intercoastal Waterway in Charleston when I ran up on this guy.  He starts talking to me right before he flies off in disgust.  Disgust that there is ducktape holding my kayak together!
