We got our new tattoos tonight!  It was long, painful and very, very worth it.  Pat got her moon-face original artwork by Wes Freed who does the artwork for the Drive-By Truckers.   I got a picture of a artistic killer-whale that turned out amazing.  Thanks to my sexy and strong brother Chuck for letting me steal that from him!  Thanks Chuck .

I wish I could say that Wal-Mart took over a year to develop these picture or I had just retrieved them from some mischievous ninjas.  However, laziness is to blame!

If you see a picture that embarrasses you or makes you look fat, I’ll be happy to remove it for a nominal fee.  Just kidding.  Or am I? 

Anyway, it’s been an amazing first year of marriage.  Pat and I are doing great and the dogs are dumb.  We’re looking forward to our BVI trip (we leave tomorrow!) and eventually moving back to the Alabama vicinity.   Hope all is well!

Thanks to our friend Dale, we just got back from our free weekend stay at a fancy little Bed and Breakfast called the Blake House Inn located in Asheville, NC.  It was awesome, the place was very nice and our room was great.  Had it not been raining the entire time, it would have been perfect.   We did get to walk a bit downtown and visit some of the shops and noted that next time those caramel apples with nuts will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine.

We did get to chill with Chase, his lady friend Britney and of course, Shady Grady Grogan.  Unfortunately after the first photo of Chase and Pat, the camera promptly died.  All I got were some action shots of the bed and breakfast.  French toast, yes please.
