Over the last few weeks I’ve been developing a “dog” rig for my kayaks.  Saturday we gave it a test for the first time.  Maribelle was in her pink and white polka dot life preserver and was absolutely amazing to behold. 

Even if she slipped off she didn’t lose her cool.  She’d simply swim to the bank and wait for me to paddle over and either haul her up by the handle on her back, or jump up by herself…back onto the Pimp Cushion.

Can’t wait to take her out again!

Well, the cheap camera I have doesn’t do it justice, but it snowed like nobody’s business here in Charleston, SC Friday night.  I took the dogs out for some fun in the snow.  They love snowballs and would have chased them all night had Pat not been so worried about their paws .

Maribelle is the tri-color beaglier.  She is the oldest of the two at just over a year old.  Butters is the tan and white.  He is around 8 months as of the time of this shot.  They make that funny half growl sound alot when they play.  Which, they do much of the day.
